Most teams have a bullpen catcher on the payroll. He is not on the roster, and is considered part of the coaching staff. If more than one pitcher is warming up, the other will be caught by the bullpen coach or the team's backup catcher.

A specialty...a bullpen catcher who would probably not be on the roster...it would be filling a spot needlessly
