All sun signs: How to you respond to negative comments about your sun sign?

When you get a negative comment regarding your sign:

1) Does it deeply upset you?
2) Do you find it humorous?
3) Do you see it as an opportunity of enlightenment, in that rather than being offended, you are glad that someone told you, so you don't offend others?

And what is your sign?

I'm a Scorpio. I find many comments funny (even some of the worst ones). I find very few negative comments offensive, no matter how bad they are. I also like the comments, as these comments can open my eyes to traits I may have that may offend others.

1) No, nothing like a negative comment from a horoscope reading can upset me. What can really hurt me is when a friend is telling me a negative side of my character but basically because I do treasure the opinion of the people I love. When I read a negative comment on my sign, I just try to realize it if it is true and if this is the case I think maybe I would like to overcome some weakness I do have.

2) Yes for me the horoscope is mainly for fun, I find some truth in it but actually nowadays it is my hobby. It is funny that just based on the sun signs I had read I get along perfect with Pisces but actually I am on a different opinion as we do not have anything in common and all the Pisces girls I have met are really annoying me though the Pisces guys are alright.

3) Well yeah family, friends, horoscopes all had told me I am damn stubborn, I know it too, I am also inflexible due to stubbornness and whenever I try to outgrow myself, I find it very difficult to move on because I am deeply sure that I should do whatever I feel and I have really very hard times to realize maybe I am on the wrong direction. I hope I can change it but well it is not so easy.

I am a Taurus. I find comments about me that I am also jealous, possessive and prone to easy irritating but well when some is not true, when I respect the personal space of the others, I am happy for my friends when they succeed and well maybe the last one is kinda correct I get offense sometimes with a slight provocation, actually what I am trying to say is that I can estimate what is true and what is not and just try to think about it and see if I can do something to prevent some eventual burdens along the way.

1) Not really. It makes me a little sad that Scorpio gets such a bad reputation. Everyone seems to think we're evil and power-hungry monsters just because we're secretive. -.- Just look at the movies or TV shows. Almost every evil villain fits the Scorpio persona. It's irritating... It makes things a bit more difficult for good Scorpios.

2) Sometimes it's amusing, Because you get the same comments a lot. Backstabbing monsters or Sexual dynamites. It's funny how the same ones pop up so much.

3)Meh, Not really. I've got a good grasp on my weaknesses as most Scorpios do. I know my faults and what I need to do to work on them.

As a Scorpio I'm used to being critzied and having a bad reputation, sometimes really bad things being saidf aboutmy sign. I don't get fussed by them. I find them a bit funny as well.

You've also got to keep in mind that a person is difined by their own unique birth chart and not just their sun sign. You also have to look at the persons moon sign, ascendant(rising sign), venus sign, mars sign.ect. To give a more well digfined and throughout profile for a person.

I'm Pisces. I like to read my "horrorscope" sometimes (at the end of the day) just to see how much of it actually happened that day. When I read negative things, I don't think much of it...I just think that it's all someones idea, not necessarily fact, not carved in stone because no two people are alike, even if they have similar personality traits. But sometimes the negative stuff is true. What can I say? If the shoe fits, I guess I just have to put it on and limp on off in it. The truth is not always kind, especially about ourselves.

Every sign has they're negative points but not all people under that sign carry those characteristics.
For every insult I get, there is usually a good one to use aganist them too.
Actually, I rather like some of the bad points about Scorpios.
Being mean can kinda be fun sometimes =].

I'm actually glad to hear comments like this no matter positive or negative. This is sometimes the faults that close friends and family can't see because they love you so much they don't notice that. :) Hehe I'm glad you find it funny... because I don't.. I am kinda serious about those comments. :)

I'm a cancer...Mostly I find them humorous. Mostly because I don't think a sun sign can tell everything about you- but also because some of the worse characteristics of my sign are right for me, and because I can accept those flaws with good humor. It mainly just tells me things I already know of myself, so I don't get offended, really. It's just part of who I am...

I don't really care. They are just jealous cuz they wish they had the Aries personality ;-P

Besides, I already accept my negative traits so I don't care if they notice them. The positive traits outweigh the negative ones anyday anyway!

I'm more ashamed of my Virgo rising, having Virgo sucks. So many negative traits I wish I could change about myself there
