Hey, does anyone have any experience reconstructing damaged animal skulls or bones? A co-worker gave me a fox skull that someone stepped on (that's how they found it) and it is now in four large pieces. What sort of glue have you had luck with on bone? Thanks! Oh it was found while they were out hiking!

Gorilla glue is messy and expands. It is a great glue but it adheres very well so after it dries, it is very hard to get it off. You would have to sand it which you may not want to do if it will damage the skull. And epoxy might be your better choice here. It comes in two tube that you mix when ready to use and is stronger than glue. Make sure you wipe off the excess while it is wet. (That doesn't work with Gorilla glue because it expands as it dries to fill in gaps)

Stay away from the Gorilla Glue. Good stuff for the right job but this isn't it. A good epoxy is the proper glue for the job.

I would try a two-piece epoxy. Just mix it thoroughly before applying.

go to either walmart or home depot and puchase "Gorilla Glue"...it is the best...better than super glue,
