I was trying to prevent new people from becoming my fans, after I had enough of really creepy people adding me, and after two of my questions were removed, today, and ended up deleting all fans. Didn't know this would happen, thought it was only about new ones. Will have to add my friends and contacts again. This was one of those days I should have stayed in bed!!

I still have all as my contacts, but they must have lost me, so I guess it's they who will have to add me again, if they wish. What a mess!

It's so sad that the YAT keep adding new half-baked options and features, without any clear explanations to the users, and worse still, without first fixing all that doesn't work.
They don't have their priorities straight... Fortunately, we do ;-)

1. Yankees 2. Alex Rodriguez 3. I've only ever been to one game, but the Yankees came back in late innings to win. After the game people were chanting Boston sucks, which I thought was quite humorous. A-Rod also got his 496th home run I believe. I'm not quite sure which # it was. 4. I'd give back the ball and meet A-Rod, Jeter, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, and Joba Chamberlain. 5. Probably not. 6. I own plenty of Yankees baseball cards and other stuff like that.

So now it's back to blocking them one person at a time. That's what I've been doing all along. Whenever anyone adds themselves to my fans list, I check out their profile, especially the questions they have asked, and either add them as contacts or block them. One I left on without doing either for awhile, but eventually ended up deciding. Generally, if they don't seem like bad people, I add them, mostly because they thought enough of me to add me.

I have a standard email that I send to people that have added me to their contact list, I keep it in my files and fire it off right away to those I do not know....
The subject line - About that Block
The email
Dear So and So,
Please remove me from your contact list. I don't want you to not be able to answer my questions...if I block you, that is what will happen. If you don't take me off your contact list right away....You will be blocked. I know this is harsh, it is not personal on my part but defensive and to be safe here I am on the defensive and overly cautious... Naka

You are still in my fan list, you have me as a contact.
Contacts, fans and friends are all different categories.
Contacts are people you have added, whose questions you want to follow.
Fans are people who have added you, and want to follow your questions.
Friends apply only to 360, you should not have had them deleted at all.

the contacts on my page are so messed up! I wish I could add you but no matter how many I delete they still tell me I have reached my limit, have actually have had ppl email and get mad cause I didnt add them!lol
