I'm totally with you on watching Greg Maddux. He is an absolute assassin and watching his two-seam fastball that starts at the left-handed batter and breaks to the inside corner of the plate is a thing of beauty to watch. I'd much rather watch a control pitcher like him than a power pitcher like Roger Clemens.

It's also really fun to watch Tom Glavine pitch, and the way he can manipulate an umpire's calls by throwing pitches farther and farther outside. By the sixth inning, the ump is calling pitches 6 inches outside as strikes. I don't see any young pitchers doing anything like that.

Greg Maddux was great to watch in the 90's. Now he's an old man. Any strikeout pitcher with good control is interesting.

Yeah I gotta agree I love watching Greg Maddux pitch. Its amazing to see an average guy like him baffle big league hitters with a mid 80's fastball but a wicked change up. Besides Maddux my other fav to watch would have to be Nolan Ryan simply because it was great to watch him just overpower hitters.

I used to love watching Jose Lima. He'd do a humorous dance each and every time he strikes somebody out. Now a days, i admire C.C. Sabathia. He has matured plenty right into a command pitcher, coming from a "blow it via you" pitcher, he's now between the ultimate in baseball. he's quite a valuable, unswerving guy too. He signed a hat for me after a interest that the Indians lost 11-4, and he became into pitching.

I like to watch justin verlander and not because of the no hitter. He can bring 100 mph heat and make people look silly with his breaking ball.

Johan Santana is a master. His motion is real fluid and his release almost looks effortless. That guy is going to command MEG$$$$ when he's a free agent.
