i believe that we should all believe... even if we're not believing in the same things. The most important thing for us to find something to believe in.
And yes, I do believe in God. why? I cant explain it and that is largely why I do, there have been too many instances in my life where it couldnt be explained any other way than it was just God's way. you cant see that kind of power, you just feel it and have to have faith in it.

I don't think this is too much of a question to ask others, but actually to ask yourself. Because it's about your own personal faith, and outlooks on life.
Believers are the ones that try and carry on with hope and faith.
And non believers try and carry on with persistance and hard-work.
But neither way is wrong. Believers and non-believers have both made significant changes to the world. And it doesn't matter how the universe got here, if it was by God or science, what matters is the way we make the universe right for mankind.

God springs forth from the primitive limbic system of your brain, the last remnants of your reptillion past. The area where our raw emotions reside, including the irrational belief systems.
The 'religious' experience is triggered by deep depression, starvation, near death, or other highly charged situations. The 'born-again' christian phenomena has a scientific basis....yes, your limbic system. Why has man evolved this mechanism you might ask? Simple...it was a survival mechanism of our cave man ancestors to cope with a hostile and unknown universe.
The cerebral cortex is a more recent development. Here is where our rational and logical thought processes take place. It is here that the atheists have found their basis in reality.
In reality, there is no sentient, omnipresent, omnipotent supernatural being or force....therefore all the inequities and misery of the world will always persist, no matter how hard some try to get that limbic brain of ours to work...sorry

I believe in people and the changes they can make
sorry I didn't use metaphors like "my heart told me so" or "I don't, but my spirit does"
when you thank god that you survived a car accident, why not the guy who made sure your car was safe to drive?
thank god he pulled you through a rough period in your life, how about giving yourself a little more credit, and the people that supported you, if any

Yes, because there are too many coincidences otherwise. I honestly think God is just an old guy in heaven, laughing at us all the time. We're so FASCINATED by the most random things, for instance: Stonehenge. No one knows what or why it is, but there are people who've devoted their LIVES to looking at it. Nessie, similiar situation. It's great, gotta love humanity and all it's quirks.

I do not believe in God. I love and respect people's faith in God. It's getting harder and harder to believe these days. It's seems a lot of people are in denial rather than faithful. Denial is a form of belief but it will never be as good as Faith. I choose to belief in myself rather than another (Dependency is never a good thing). I am my higher power because through comprehension all things are possible.

I do and I don't. I believe that there was someone who made us all who we are today. I believe that there is someone who is guiding and helping us. I believe that there was someone who decided what and how we should be. I don't know if it's God, but there is someone.
I'm not really religious but if I feel I'm in trouble I do pray; to who? I don't know; anyone who will listen.
