My mothers spirit keeps presenting herself to my best friend. My best friend is like my sister and has always been apart of my family. My mom past of cancer two years ago and my friend keeps telling me my mom speaks to her and tells her to make sure she is taking care of me. I myself have never felt her spirit at all since see died. Any insight??
(I'm not religious and yes I am open minded in spirits)

Can you see or hear spirits at all, honey? If you can't, then don't take any offense, as it's a good chance your mother might be trying to contact you and you just don't realize it (ever think of her out the clear blue sky? Ever smell something that reminds you of her?). If your friend obviously can, then your mother is just trying to get to you through her. You see, when a spirit desperately wants to contact someone, they will go to whomever they have to in order to make that contact. I almost get a sense that your mother is worried about you. I guess a mother's worry never dies, even when their body does. Know that she will always be with you, and you can talk to her and she will hear you even if you can't hear her.

In most situation when that occurs, That spirit is always trying to protect you from someone or something or a situation that you and your girlfriend Know about.. But for what ever reasons she does not trust him or whatever it is.... Also that spirit could be a demon and being un-able to fool you it is using your girlfriend to help put you into that situation...... In any case if what you are saying is true I strongly recommend that you slow down on any involvement you happen to be in and try not to over-indulge in anything that could lead you mind in a negative manner...... For their has to be something that you are doing that is keeping that spirit away from you.. what It is I don't know but I recommend that you bring a bible into your room and if this spirit is from God it will relate to you thru your bible..... Another thing is that if you are planning a seance don't... If you are planning to use a Ouija really really don't.... Just be yourself and take care,be strong and always stay safe...... I would say because she's not trying to communicate with your mom and you want to, sometimes you can try to hard, just relax and hopefully she will visit you in a dream or by being near you, you will know when this happens. Sorry but there's really no evidence for ghosts or any survival after death. Your friend probably misses your mother if she was close to the family and this is her way of dealing with the loss and trying to strengthen her bond with you. Less charitably, your friend may have control issues.
