Yes it does depend on condition. In grade good- rims intact but liberty on hand band worn off value is $2.50, in grade fine- where Liberty is mostly visible the value is $14. If it has more detail it grades higher, see a dealer to have it graded for in grade very fine the value goes up to $40. Now there are two varieties of this date, variety 1 the last feather of the headdress points between the I & C in America, this is the more common type. Variety 2 the last feather points between the C & A in America, this is the scarcer of the two and has more value. See a couple of coin dealers to get their opinions a value. The values quoted are abour what a coin dealer would pay.

It really depends on the condition of the coins. A quick check of Ebay shows that if the coin is in the same shape as the day it left the mint (mint state) it might fetch 100-300 or more dollars. On the other hand, if the coin is pretty worn and looks like the rest of your pocket change, it might sell for 3 or 4 dollars. As a general rule, coin collectors will pay more for a coin that is closer in quality to the day it was minted than if the coin has been well used and is worn.

You can go to the library to check it out, look for a coin priceguide...It has the year and under the year on the coin is a letter (on some coins) this indicates the mint that the coin was produced....Usually a "P" or "S" or a "D"....then look in the priceguide and there will be different "conditions" that the coin could be in...This affects the value...the better the condition, the more money....
It's a penny so yes it's worth a cent but in all reality the metal is worth more than the "cent" ...it should be worth something..check it out, you may be pleasantly surprised if it's rare.

that depends a great deal on the condition of the coin . next the how rare the coin is. some little detail on the coin can make it worth a great deal . for the most part i think you could get a pretty good idea from looking it up on eBay . another way is too take it too a coin shop and ask them what it is worth. explain to them your not there to sell it first thing and then they will be much more likely to give you an honest answer. in addition if you suspect that its more rare then most take it too a few different coin shops . watch carefully as they look at it as some bad shops may attempt to switch your rare coin if it is with one very similar but not rare.

I didn't see anyone mention the fact that it depends on how much someone else wants the coin. Sure you have to factor in condition and mint and all that but in the end, it depends on how much someone wants to pay for the coin. There are also some people out there who do not know the true value and will give you more or less what it is worth. So it does depend on who you sell it to.

I'm assuming you are talking about a circulated coin. There are two varieties of 1886 Indian head pennies. The more common variety goes for about $4.00 in good condition to about $17.00 in fine condition and over $100 for very fine condition. The less common variety goes for even more.

Depends on the condition of the coin and the mint mark... i personally am unfamiliar with the indian head cents... but there are books and price guides out there to help you... also you might take it to a local coin dealer and he/she might tell you free of charge...
