If it hurts in your gut, and you want to be with him no matter what,& you think about him day & night & want what's best for him. Then there certainly is a strong connection leading to love and possibly the altar. Be sure your right for each other and the feelings are mutual. Be happy~~~jill, married 54 yrs.

There are many different types of love. I can honestly say that I love my friends, but it's different than the love I feel for my parents, and different than the love I feel for my boyfriend, and also different than the love I feel for my cat. She wasn't leading you on, most likely she was just relieved that you guys were talking again.

There could be various meanings in this: I myself have a cute little blond friend that's a female, my wife knows her, I know she has "something" for me, there could be something there but, we keep if friendly.
You've given me "thought" but, stinking thinking and maturity keeps it a friendly friendship. Thanks for the interjections.
I do know of a female that let an "infatuation" get out of hand, it led to a roll in the hay and almost broke up her family. This is what could happen to less understanding people.

I'm not sure if I'd say you were "in love" but you obviously love them. There are many degrees of love.
You may have deep love for one and a love of friendship for another at the same time and not be in love with either.

Well, I think it can. It's either that or you have a very strong connection to a certain someone and really feel a sense of peace seeing them.

I don't think it has to be associated with love. You can enjoy being around a person and not be in love.

Love is when you no longer compare them with some one else, you only see that person in your heart.
