I've used at least a Pentium 3, 256MB ram, a 100megabit Ethernet controller. So, anything you have has got to be better than that. Video doesn't matter.

Anything more than that and it would be overkill, and frankly, not really do anything for it. Your internet is only as fast as your service provider allows it to be.

Whatever your system has in RAM, video or processor is sufficient. The only additional requirement is an Ethernet adapter which most new computers have built into the motherboard. If yours is a little older and doesn't, Ethernet network adapter cards are plentiful and cheap. As far as drivers, TCP/IP must be installed, the broadband supplier will either do it for you or have an install CD to do it automatically.
It's an easy transition from dial up and makes the Internet experience far more enjoyable.

All you need is a Web Browser and an Ethernet Card or a USB Port. Some modems also support USB.

What you have looks good, though you will need a NIC or a USB Cable modem to connect to your broadband connection.

There is none. A computer made in 1988 could have broadband internet.

Your computer is fine as long as it's from this century.

It just needs a ethernet card or connection
Or a wireless card or usb wireless connection
Anything new will have one or the other or both.
