they are gaining power because people other than me voted them in to office.
but let me tell ya.. some of my dearest, closest friends vote democrap. these are the people i would trust to babysit my dogs (i have, twice).. i LOVE democrats. i think you guys are fun, funny, compassionate, laid-back... i love you. in fact, if you weren't so uninformed, i would probably respect your opinions almost as much as i respect conservatives' opinions.
i promise you.. in fact.. i bet you five bucks a democrat will not be elected president in '08, but that's only because you guys don't know how to pick candidates who will actually WIN *cough.. john kerry...*... but that's neither here nor there.

I don't know, but i do know i don't like Hillary
1. She's a communist
2. She's a communist
3. She's a communist
Just kidding, with all seriousness though i really do not want Hillary Clinton to win. First off i do not want universal health care that will not only destroy the quality of medical care but also drive thousands of doctors including 2 of my friends parents out of business. In addition to this the loss of all those people's jobs could cause a second economic collapse. Secondly a tax increase will severely hurt the economy, combined with Universal Health Care, she has the means to successfully kill the American economy. Lastly Hillary constantly alters her opinions in order to gain more votes we need people with constant opinions not ones that change based on the voters opinions. In addition to these facts my parents will be able to save a lot of money on a four year vacation to another country if she doesn't win. So as you can easily see people who are old enough to vote, don't vote for Hillary Clinton unless you have been saving up for a four year vacation.

The democrat wins in '06 were a message from the conservatives to our leaders......We don't like how you are running our country. As someone else already stated the democrats are doing an even worse job of running the Congress.

It seems they were elected more often than republicans in the '06 election because of the public's disapproval of the Bush Administration.
And who says they don't like Democrats? I don't not like any whole group of people. I like/dislike individual people because of their actions, not their ideologies.

Simple, I didnt vote for them. They were voted in due to dissapproval of Bush, however, now the Democratic Congress approval ratings are lower then the presidents', a historic all time low at that.

she grew to become into in basic terms pandering to the hassle-free minded to purchase votes. human beings bought it yet whilst the dems positioned greater taxes on gasoline because of the fact the companies are rewarding the hassle-free minded won't understand the cost hike. they actually think of that the oil companies will soak up the greater effective fee and not in basic terms bypass it directly to the patron - idiots.
