they disappeared with those "Bush/Cheney" bumperstickers.

I think with the new Commander in Chief that war protesters are just not making it something people need to make a point about? I have to admit to great sadness. No matter what some people say, to me it's the same war. We should have supported it no matter who is president. I'm sickened by the attitude of some US citizens. By the way, Obama ran saying he was going to stop this war and he has escalated it. I'm angry at him over that. I think perhaps we should be there, but I guess that he suddenly changed him mind? Some people voted for him as they thought he was going to stop it. What a sham.

I have seen "pray for our troops" in the yahoo graphics of people on 360 and yahoo answers. I think we have reached a more advanced level of support working to bring our troops home by pushing our Congressional representatives and the President to "bring our troops home". This more advanced level of support includes writing letters to our military men and women and sending them packages of things that they enjoy having.
We are supporting our troops by demanding they come home and defend America. Please call your Senator and Congressional Rep and the White House and demand we bring our troops home from Iraq.
To answer your question directly perhaps the "stealing" issue mentioned above is the reason for less of the yellow magnets on cars. Especially in urban areas it could be a problem (the stealing of the yellow magnetic ribbons from cars).

That is because you have turned a blind eye and can not see clearly. They are there, you just do not want to see them, and as for as the big black SUV's, I have one, drive it every day. Also have a "I support the Troops" sticker on it, and because of this, I am suppose to be a what or who, explain that, or is it that I can afford the gas for it and you ride a bicycle or what.

I have one and I hate Bush and the war. I have a relative in Iraq who is due home soon. My family also supports the troops by sending goodie boxes of food items not available there, grooming items, phone cards, coffee, etc. You can still buy phone cards for the troops at your local PO. Bless them all.

I still have my "Support President Bush and our Troops sticker". It surprises many people because though I am a citizen of the USA I still have a "heavyish" European accent, it is like they expect me to hate the President and the military. I was darn glad for the American when I was growing up in the Europe during the cold war, I am not going to urn on them now . We were scared to death that the Soviets would invade us like they did Czechoslovakia.

Because 80% of the population is against the invasion, and want Dumbya to bring our troops home. But then again, it could just be that the colors are not in style this season...

Allot of people are actually “supporting” our troops now days by sending packages of things they need or want and letters too.
Perhaps people want to support our kids/troops without making it look like we are supporting the policies that have “them” in Iraq.

Because most people view those ribbons, not as supporting our troops, but supporting the war, which translates to supporting the Bush agenda.

It doesn't surprise me that there are less of them. I think it is more disappointing that some people don't realize (or just don't care) how long the war has been going on. I think that people feel we owe them a lot more than just a car decoration so it is not as popular as it once was.

I don't see them around where I live anymore either.
I think the magnets on them might have worn and they fell off the cars.
I go into stores and I don't see them there anymore.
Go figure!
