If you have a checking account, your bank should offer a "checking card," which is a Visa or MasterCard tied to your account.
If you don't want to use that, you can get one of those "pre-paid" Visa/MasterCard/AMEX gift cards at your local grocery store or gas station.

Don't try to get someone through the personals. Come on....you have no idea who you're getting.
Anyway....instead of a credit card, get a debit card. Oh...and congratulations on being smart enough to avoid getting a credit card. Don't EVER get one.
