Bi-partisan would be a good start. Other than that I would like a president who listens to advice from more than just a handful of people in his inner circle

A president who focuses on issues that unite, instead of those that divide. Too long has homosexuality and abortion divided the nation, and it's time for a president to do the much more important things like reforming Healthcare, Social Security, and Immigration laws (without amnesty), combatting crime at home, and terrorism abroad, and keeping taxes for the middle class and small businesses as low as possible. A president who can do that will be a God-sent savior.

Pro-Life
Lower taxes
Put conservative judges on the courts
Get Bin Laden
Get us out of Iraq
Cheaper energy costs
I think alot of Americans want these things, so it should be easy to be bipartisan.

I know many people will not like my answer but....NO the next president should not try to be more bi-partisan. That was part of Bush's problem. Why in the heck would he co-write an education bill with Ted (Hick) Kennedy. If we elect a conservative, he or she should rule like a conservative. Same with democrats.

Bi-partisan? Bush has tried to be all inclusive and bi-partisan for his his whole term. You can see were it got us. No, I want a real conservative for a president. On who is solid on national defense. One who is solid on closing the borders to illegals. One who will use diplomacy but from a position of strength. (soft talk, big stick).
I want a president who is a conservative and can explain why that is the proper way to go and can inspire the youth of America. I want a president who leads! I want a president who will stand up for his political appointees during the confirmation process.
I want a president who makes the enemies of America quake and the friends of America strong. I want a president who is optimistic about our future and who selects strict originalists as Supreme Court Justices.

You are not going to get as bipartisan as this President used to be. He was known for his bipartisan management while Governor of Texas. Since when have democrats ever wanted bipartisanship?

I think no one should vote because the american people pick poor leaders. if no one votes there are no leaders so there is no government. everyone is equal and can do what they want.
