Oh please! Given that the last pedophile in politics was a Republican AND the Republican leadership didn't have the sack to publicly censure him I'd say that the Republican party would be the most likely one to push for such a law. But that would be only by a margin of about 0.37%, i.e there'd be about 2 yea votes (both Rep) and 533 nay votes (both houses combined).

Actually, liberals are traditionally the ones who want to create strict guidelines, where as conservatives are traditionally the ones who want to keep government out of people's personal lives. Take your rhetoric elsewhere.
