You have been infected by Adware.Fotomoto which uses Ukrainian music band named "Fotomoto" to lure users to install unwanted BHO (Browser Help Obbjects) components to downloads popup advertisements from various sources

BHOs is a DLL that allows developers to control Internet Explorer

My friend this is a time for extreme measures. Please follow these steps:

1. Backup all your data

2. Download the following softwares:
a. AVG Anti-Virus
b. Ad-Aware 2007
c. Zone Alarm
All these softwares are available from download.com.
As soon as you install these softwares, immediately update their update files from the Internet and run a complete scan.

This will solve all your problems.

If it doesn't reformat your Operating System.

Regards,

Eddie

You have gotten some good advice already -- but you may need to do the following, after you download and update an antivirus program and spyware protection. (I endorse the suggestion to use download.com. You can learn a lot there.)

Turn off your system restore (right-click My Computer, choose Properties, then System Restore tab) and restart in safe mode (F8 while restarting).

Then run full-system spyware and virus scans.

Restart your computer. If it is OK, then turn System Restore back on.

You should not need to have to reformat your hard drive or reinstall or repair Windows.

Microsoft Security Essentials. Free and easy (but unfortunately made by MS)

try http://free.grisoft.com/ or http://us.mcafee.com/root/mfs/default.asp .
You might end up having to re-install windows. Get a portable USB port and transfer all essential files (you'll need a large one or several smaller ones) to it, then re-install windows.
Or, even better, install Linux, Red-Hat Fedora, or MAC. All of those are more secure and better choices than windows.
Also install a good pop-up blocker and it will prevent you from getting viruses in the future.
