Im a little indifferent about it. It gives the players more of an incentive to play in the game and keep them from skipping out on it. But at the same time it's supposed to be an exhibition game for the fans. I think that if the game means so much, and it does now because home field advantage is huge, then there should not have to be a player from every team. They say that they do it so that all of the fans have a reason to watch. But how many more people are gonna watch because Gil Meche is there for the Royals or Freddy Sanchez from the Pirates. I know that if I was a player on a team with a legitimate chance at the pennant I would not want whether or not I got home field advantage to come down to whether Freddy Sanchez can come through in the clutch.

do no longer subject, Yankee Fan. It won't "negatively impression" you this year... the Yankees would be at abode for this year's international series - they are going to be at abode on their settee gazing the Twins play! LOL. by ability of ways, you get props for spelling "impacts" wisely. i think of ninety 9% of Yahoo! solutions clientele could have written "outcomes" there. and that's incorrect utilization. i think of sturdy grammar/spelling deserve acceptance. As on your question... no rely if the Yankees get to the WS or no longer, i do no longer think of homefield income is a great deal. the only time any group truly gets 4 abode video games is that if the series is going 7 video games. And that hasn't handed off on account that 2002, which became in the previous they even instituted the homefield income rule. In a 4 or 6 activity series, the abode field is even. In a 5 activity series, the different group truly has the income. So i think of the comprehensive to-do concerning the homefield income being desperate by ability of the AS activity is a lot overblown. it is not substantial that lots the two way.

I do
but I don't like the fact that the players WHO HAVE A HIGHER CHANCE of participating in the world series dont get a chance to play in the all star
that dumb rule about one person from every team represented at the game...I hate that...players from lousy outta contention teams like that take away spots from guys in winning teams who deserve to be there and whose teams have a higher chance of playing in the all star game!
Like orlando cabrera, gary sheffield, hanley ramirez, luis gonzales, etc etc etc

I think that it is terrible. I think that HFA should be determined by the team in the World Series that has the best record.

It's lame. Could be worse. Could certainly be a lot better.
About what can be expected from Seligula, really.
