Not really--pretty dry. Dry heat isn't as bad as humidity, I must admit. It can be 110* with 10% humidity and feel much cooler than 90* with 80% humidity.

Houston on the other hand is VERY humid.

You are going to love Texas. Its like a whole nuther country:^) Humidity is not a problem unless its right after a rain or your neighbor is pumping thousands of gallons of water on the lawn. A/C is nice to have but I worked 25 years in the heat and its nt as bad as people make it out. Its sitting under the A/C all day then walking out into the heat that makes you feel its bad. A little breeze, a big ol' shade tree and a cold beer and you are good to go. On that W2 where it says state income tax and local income tax yu can just leave that blank. And if your husband is getting paid like some get paid in NYC you will be very comfortable in Texas. If you don't drink beer get you a big old glass of iced sweet tea and chill out. Take ina Friday night Texas High school football game or two and soon you will be more worried about staying warm than how hot it may get. Aluminum bleachers with a north wind blowing up your backside can be the coldest place on earth. Take a thermos full of a hot drink.

I grew up 2 hours south of Ft. Worth and would say not really. My husband grew up in Wisconsin and would consider it VERY humid.
I think the humidity averages around normal. However, we have had a LOT of rainfall over the last few months and it's all coming back up from the ground, making it VERY humid (more so than normal).

Normally moderate. Not as dry as Albuquerque. very humid right now as we have had rain 46 of the last 67 days and almost broke an all time record for rain in a month in June.

normally it is not. I went out in June and it was EXTREMELY humid, but it had rained everyday the week before. Otherwise it's awesome - hot but not so sweaty since it's not humid.

Not normally, but this year we've been drenched with rain so it's very humid.

Though I don't think it's as humid as, say, Houston, even this year.
