president bush took a stand against terrorism , the democrats couldnt produce a president with enough backbone to stand up against terrorism . they are too busy being politically correct . the same crowd that complains about the war , would be complaining if we had done nothing about the 911 attacks !

I don't think a democratic president, or any other president, would have sat still, listening to "My Pet Goat," while the WTC towers were under attack.

Intelligent planning and strategy needed take place after being attacked.

However, Bush is a reactionary. He lashed out blindly against countries that did not attack the US. He attacked Afghanistan because they won't allow prisoner extradition.

He should have attacked Libya, too, under those pretenses.

Did he catch Osama Bin Laden? No.

He attacked Iraq because it was rumored that they had WMD. Iran has those same weapons, as well as Pakistan and India. Why didn't he attack those countries first?

Did he catch Osama Bin Laden in Iraq? No.

He acts first, thinks (maybe) later.

He is incompetent, ill-advised and inarticulate; qualities we do not want in the "Leader of the Free World."

BTW, I am not a "Whiney Liberal:" I am merely an average, hard-working, middle class American who is dissatisfied with this administration's track record.

Before 9/11 he was just the same loser that he is right now. It's not that he can take a stand, but it's just that he got a chance to go to war and be a hero.
Presedent Clinton would have done a far better job on this issue (as he usually used to do) and still politically correct because he would have a good reason to do so.

Uhhh... Lemme see here... Bush didn't get the popular vote but got the presidency anyway compliments of the Supreme Court. The Dems responded by nominating a decorated war veteran to oppose his failed wartime strategy and Bush calls the resultant 4 vote margin a "mandate."

Anyone who thinks that any president from any party would have sat idly by after 9/11 is simply a moron to put it politely.

I voted twice for Bush and fully supported him, along with the rest of the world when we went into Afghanistan. Going into Iraq was a huge blunder that served no purpose other than to tie up all our assets for 5 yrs. I'll whine about him all I want, It's my right as an American, and it's even more my right since I voted for the idiot

you actually believe that junk???? bush did WHAT about terrorism? he hasn't laid a glove on bin laden, there are many more terrorists worldwide than ever before, and all he has to show for it is more Americans dead than 9/11, hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians, 2 million refugees, a budget deficit that our grand-kids will be trying to get a handle on, a thoroughly worn out and demoralized military machine, billions and billions of our tax dollars STOLEN by his cronies, a world that used to have respect for us, had sympathy for us after 9/11, and now ridicules us for our administration's incompetence, and hates us for our abandonment of decency and international law in our flouting of the geneva convention...

We're saving that as a negotiating tactic. We'll stop when you whiney Neocons shut up about Bill Clinton.

I swear, if it weren't for beating dead horses you wouldn't get any exercise at all.

Why don't you just shut up! You cannot just up and tell people to shut up on this web site, it is just rude and if you had read up a little more on things, you would realize why we are really after him. From your statement, you don't have a clue. How do you like me telling you to shut up?
