new type usa?

who thinks new type usa is too much money?

I DO i really want it but $90 for 12.........is there anyway i can get it cheaper? even if i dont get the dvd

I agree, it's pretty expensive. I've tried several angles (subscribing as a "new subscriber", waiting until the subscription is about to lapse) which for many other magazines result in price breaks, but Newtype USA doesn't seem to have a better price.

I've been a subscriber for many years, but am letting my subscription lapse. It's nice to get news of upcoming releases, but it's 90% commercial advertisements -- I don't see the point in paying $90/year for people to try to sell me things.

You could check the libraries in your area and see if any of them carries the magazine. Then it would be free. (But I wouldn't hold out much hope for that working.)
