Are there any Dave Ramsey fans out there? What's your story?

As of Dec, 2006, I had never heard his name. Sometime that month, I read the name here (actually the credit category). Jan 10, a local radio station began to carry his program. Feb, 2, I attended a Live Event 3 hours form home. Last month I started the Debt Snowball. I have $11,000 to go. I am officially on vacation this week. Time to visit the pizza shops. I happen to know one nearby is run by a Dave Ramsey listener. Maybe this month he will have an opening.

Been a fan of Dave Ramsey since Dec 2005. I was driving towards San Antonio and saw his bill board and turned on the radio. Loved everything he said. Bought the books 2 days later. Had trouble convincing my wife to try it. A few months after we started we had a couple of fights. She felt I was controlling the money. It wasn't until some of the credit card debt started disappearing that she decided to get on board. Not debt free yet, but working on it.

big fan here. I'm working his live debt free plan... it's not easy, it takes lots of time and effort, but it's working.
