Don't know if you are wanting a convers. chart or not but here it goes

when going when going this direction
this direction
-------> (x) multiply <------------ divide

1 gallon (gal) = 4 quarts (qt)

1 quart (qt) = 2 pints (pt)

1 pint (pt) = 2 cups (c)

now to use it:

how many cups are in a gallon

2c/pt and 2 pts in 1 qt so there are 4 cups in 1qt and if there are 4 cups in 1qt then there are 8 cups in 1 gal

hope this helps

What country are you in? The gallon used to be 8 pints or 4 quarts. 4 gill to a pint so 32 gill to the gallon. Cups are 200mL so you've got me there. The US gallon is smaller than the Imperial gallon which isn't so common.

Not sure what you mean by "the whole thing"?

If you mean conversions, they go like this:
8 ounce (oz) = 1 cup
16 oz = 2 cup = 1 pint (pt)
32 oz = 4 cup = 2 pt = 1 quart (qt)
128 oz = 16 cups = 32 pt = 4 qt = 1 gallon (gal)
