So instead of lifting her yourself, get your husband to put her into a snuggle sack (or other carrier), and strap her on you. Then you can get to walk around and visit all you want (but it is going to be very tiring, so have hubby close by as relief).

OR...just sit down on the couch, and have hubby bring her over to visit. Let her crawl into your lap and all you have to do is snuggle her...no lifting involved with that.

well I got implants, not a lift. I was told that the implant could move if I lift too soon. I did not want a boob under my armpit so I waited about 3 weeks or so. My baby was only about 16 lbs then though.

LISTEN to your doctor's orders!

If your doctor says do not lift anything over 15 pounds for a certain amount of time, pay attention to them.

Your stitches could break.

Trust me you do NOT want split stitches and you do not want an incision to open.
