Could happen. I'm actually allergic to wearing any metal that isn't silver or gold believe it or not.
It's kind of annoying, because even when I see nice deals on jewelry - if it's not the real deal it will make my skin swollen and red (which really sucks at times).
Your body is a lot more sensitive right now, so a lot of things could irritate it quite easily.

Is it pure silver or is there nickle in it? Most people develop an allergic reaction to the nickle that is inside of a precious metal. For instance I cannot wear stainless steel earrings because they have nickle in them. I also cannot wear anything that is just plated with silver because there is nickle inside. You can develop an allergic reaction to anything at any time, so I would say that it is not unusual for this to happen.

During pregnancy it is more likely to develop an allergy and it'll go away after you have the baby. and im sure the baby is normal and human so no need to be calling a vet.

Oh, I should say that it would be a very rare occurence, indeed...........many babies are born everyday with a silver spoon in their mouth, and to date it has caused no ill effects that I am aware of. Puppies may be another matter entirely.

Sick Enraida the Atheist, and her sick friends are all here from another thread to cause a little trouble. Ignore them or tell them to crawl back in the hole they came from.
