My ex had a son with a man she never married because he was a drug addict. I adopted the boy when he was six and so he is my son and is now 22. Anyways my 11 year old told me since the divorce 1 1;2 years ago they went to meet the father of my adopted son. He said they went to a hotel to bring him cookies. That does not make sense to me. While we were married my ex who is a nurse got escorted from her office, she was fired because a patient claimed she stole pills from her home. My ex had a bad back and always was taking oxcontin and othe similiar stuff. Am I overreating or should I be concerned between the hotel visit and my ex getting fired?

While you were married she was fired.
After you were divorced she went to see her ex, so there is quite a space in time there. However, the fact that you said she was always taking Oxycontin and her ex was a drug addict would make me concerned about your 11 yr old being anywhere near that situation. I would be concerned.

She may have gone to give this guy more than cookies. Where was your son during the visit? As far as the allegations that led to her firing, quite possibly, she is an addict. I'd suggest a visit to your attorney for some legal guidance.

Tell your EX to keep your kids away from the ex-con.
yes you have a right to be concerned if you were a woman writing this you would have people screaming.
Tell her you are very nervous about these things and if it continues your taking her to Court.
I'm sure a judge would see what you are seeing
