You say it isn't gravity???

Only other thing I can think of is the earth's centrifugal force, which helps create gravity and thus helps attract the rock to the center of the floor.

If the rock is thrown towards the center of the floor, it's the force of the trhow.

the throwing force plus gravity. without gravity, it wouldnt matter how hard u threw it
