1) (4y)^3 for y=1/2
(4*1/2)^3 = 2^3 = 8

2) 3(5 - 2m /4) for m=2
3(5-2*2/4) = 3(5-1) = 12

3)[ (L + 1.9 ) -3]8 for L =6.2
[(6.2 +1.9) -3]8 = [8.1-3]8 = 5.1*8 = 40.8

4)a + 6b for a =1.2,b=0.6
1.2 +6*.6 = 1.2 + 3.6 = 4.8

5) ( c+ 3) d for c = 1.5, d= 10
(1.5 +3)*10 = 4.5*10 = 45

Just put the numbers in place of the letters.

although i can not quite solve those problems myself, i may know a source that can help you. Go to msmath3.com and that should show you some tips on solving algebra, if that does not work u could always type in the type of problem ur trying to solve into google and that may give u some answers
hope that helps :)
