You'd be better trying a travel agent in your home country. Ask around and compare prices. If you must contact someone in Japan, H.I.S. is a great travel agency.

Travel agency is a company that helps you with travel arrangements, such as finding flights and hotels and advise you what kind of documents you'd need. As such, you'll want them to speak your language and preferably situated near you, where you can actually visit them.

Judging from your question, I think you might be a bit too young to travel overseas unsupervised? If so, don't worry about it now; just do what you do at your age, like study(!) and eventuarlly travel within your country (planning for it yourself, too), etc. Then, by the time you're ready to take the trip to Japan, you'll either know what you need to know or at least know how to find it out.

H.I.S. is the biggest travel agent in Japan. I didn't think it works in other country but now I live in France and found cheapest ticket from H.I.S. Paris and the price was amawing. My friend who is British found and suprized the price of H.I.S. London. Check it out and have a good luck!

Travel agent is the company in your country, which will take care of everything around your trip- tickets( they must find you the best offer that will suit you), insurance, hotel, transportation to the hotel, visa, ticket back, basic advices about the country you are traveling to. Contacting Japanese company in Japan only will complicate the matters.I don't know how is it in the US, but the best choice will be to find some company in your country which will take care of your trip.

I've always got good rates from this travel agency: booktickets4less.com. I would still check their prices with expedia.com or priceline.com just to make sure you are getting the cheapest rate. Hope this helps.

Try Expedia. I can't remember the full address.
