Do you feel the the Mets sold out to the corporate groups like many other teams have done?

It stinks. Shea Stadium is one of the most famous stadium names in the world, they should have called it New Shea or if they wanted to sell out to a corporate sponsor, Citifield Shea or something.

Im not a Mets fan, but I bet they wont care what the stadium is called, as long as they get to see thier Mets play. I think it should be called Citi Presents: New Shea Stadium, that way Citi could have thier name everywhere you look, it could be called "New Shea" and long time Mets fans could still call it Shea Stadium. Thats what they should do for all old stadiums being bought out by coroporations. Comerica Presents: New Tiger Stadium, thatd be a good one. For the White Sox, "US Cellular Presents: New Comiskey Park.

Seeing as how he bats high in the order and has a flair for the dramatic, the first Yankee could very well be Derek Jeter. Seeing as how they go flat in big situations, the first Met to homer at Citi Field might not happen for a couple of weeks into the 2009 season.

I'm not a Mets fan, But I hate all corporate named stadiums. It should be called Kiner's Field.

the stadium really doesn't have much of a history. It looked bad for years and is not one with historic feel it was one of the worst stadiums ever.

i have been a met fan as long as i can remember and as long as the mets win world series' ,it doesn't matter what the stadium is called.

Yeah I can't stand that crap. Like the Arizona Cardinals' new stadium is named after the cheap online "college" University of Phoenix stadium, and then they name the hockey arena "Jobing.com Arena."
I CAN'T STAND THESE NAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any name is good, they just have to stick to it. i am a giants fan and when our new stadium opened it was called pac bell park and then changed to sbc park and now it is called at&t park.

personally i don't like but as long as reyes is stealing bases wright is hitting for average and beltran is knockin in runs and delgado is hittin homers, i dont really care
