you would see the faintest outline of my footprint in the snow. the blue and white moving shapes make it very hard to say for certain, but from a second look, you'd decide i wasn't running fast to get OUT of the blizzard, but instead walking deliberately INTO it. i am a creature of the north and the beauty that sonw and wind bring is harsh and not for all, but i love it.
you might not see my footsteps in the desert. others have gone there before me, and it's an inhospitable place, seeming to attract calamity and death every time, or is is my imagination?
the mountain trail is intriguing. from it, you can look down on the desert, the beach, maybe even the snow. it is steep but the rewards are many, if you wish to work at it. occasionally i'll travel here, but you'll find no trace, for i'll walk lightly.
at last though, finally it's the beach. the washing of sand and water over the feet brings comfort. the soft feeling of sand is light, and every step makes the next one a little harder. the water beckons, flees, flexes and wanes. the view of the edge of the world is amazing. and as you can tell from my avatar, it's where i want to be. (with my jen!)

In the mountains and the desert! My grandparents had a cabin in the mountains, and ran a hot springs for the county near the desert in California. They took us backpacking in the mountains and spelunking in the desert. My grandmother taught me how to walk through the woods without a trail, track animals, and find my way both in and out of the desert and the mountains. Thank you for asking a question that brings back so many good memories.

I think you would find me in the snow, my footsteps would be marking the trail, as the cold air I could feel. It felt invigorating on my face. To me there is nothing as wonderful as a hike along the mountain path, to clear ones head, and renew them for another day especially in the snow.
Have a great Summer.

You would find my footsteps on the beach in July, in the snow during December and in the mountains in March... and then in the Desert during early May .. so no need to decide when I can make time for all enviroments.. and enjoy this world we live in ..kr

We have beaches all around the Island ( 720Sq miles)so , definitely you will find my footsteps there but though have travelled to Europe some 12/14 times , i have never been able to walk in snow just like "Kodiac1".
I do regret that experience , but surely will have it soon.

I live in Florida, so the beach is nothing new to me. I really would like to see some mountains, I love scenery. Come to think of it, I have never seen snow, so being in the snow would be pretty cool.

On the beach. Always feel most alive on the beach. Really early morning, before anyone else gets up. Barefoot and happy.

I love the beach myself. Watching the waves and contemplating life and how small I am in this universe.
