I would definitely have to say Tuesday's with Morrie by Mitch Albom. It is sad, but it taught me a lot and changed the way I viewed many things in life.

Such a difficult question!! I read a couple of books a week in the summer and a least once a month while in school, so...

I guess one that stayed with me for a long time is The Alchemist by Paolo Coehlo. It just so happens that I came across it when I was in southern Spain, which is where part of the book takes place, so it was doubly satisfying. It's just a beautiful little fable, well written and you leave with a smile on your face. I like to give it to people for birthdays and Christmases. Everyone who has received it has loved it and given it to someone else.

(And I could keep going about more books, but I'm going to stop here, lest I write for the next three hours!)

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien are some of the most amazing books I've ever read. Tolkien and his works are simply literary wonders, Tolkien with his skillful language and creativity, and the books with their one-of-a-kind characters and storylines. As for more modern books, the best book I've read recently would be Watchers by Dean Koontz. I simply found it a true page-turner with very interesting characters and concepts. Best wishes!

Gosh! Thats a difficult one! As a child I loved 'The Water Babies', by Charles Kingsley. As a teen I read 'The Hobbit' several times - I loved that!! As an adult I've read so many books its difficult to say - I love anything by Virginia Andrews. But the ones that made me laugh out loud was 'It shouldn't happen to a vet' - ('All Creatures Great and Small' series - James Herriot) -Hilarious!! Drove my old man mad reading him extracts from them and screaming with laughter!! Lol!! Also I loved 'Sphere' by Michael Crichton and many more!

When I was younger I read Flowers In The Attic about 5 times...the whole series. But I would have to say that The DiVinci Code and Angels and Demons, both by Dan Brown, are my favs. They keep me wanting to read 'just another page' every time.
