I guess you mean "high five"...

Its like a sub-catagory of hip-hop,but you spell it hyphy.....It started up north in the Oakland area to be crunk with it for Cali.

Not sure what word you mean.
"High five" = slap someone's open had with your hand.
"High fi" = a term from the '50s & '60s used for vinyl records, means a high fidelity or high quality recording.
