Seriously
Democrat and Republicans, need to just get over losing elections.
I do not care who is our next President, if I disagree with them I cannot imagine calling for an impeachment just to win political points.

Quite a few of you have shown your bias. Wow what a sad state of affairs,
And by the way, I have not wanted either Clinton or Bush impeached.
Perhaps the Republicans did open a can of worms, but does that make it right?

The only ones yelling for impeachment on a regular basis is the left. The right called for the process with Clinton but did not wish to kick him out of office. They merely wanted to put him in his place. Yet the left has been calling for Bush's Impeachment as they did with Nixon.... The only difference there is, Nixon resigned first. However the right agreed with the process of impeachment in his case.
I am personally tired of the politicians making every issue a personal one. They can't seem to make decisions that are best for the country as a whole. Instead they shove personal agendas down every ones throats.
I am further irritated by the media...who has little concern in printing or saying the truth. They twist things to affect political outcomes and no other reason.

There is a problem.
Look at Gray Davis in California. He was recalled after being elected twice by the people. He was the same person with the same platforms and same views as always. He made nasty mistakes before during and after his elections.
The voters need to take a little more responsibility for who gets elected.
Our electoral systems gains much stability by having fixed terms. Even as it is politicians spend way too much time looking at polls and trying to get reelected.
Some of our polarization comes from not respecting other peoples ideas even when we vehemently disagree. The other part comes mostly from the intellectual dishonesty of using hindsight to criticize only others.
As an aside, if we expected remorse from Clinton it was a wasted effort. And the Bush bashers should not expect apologies either.

Where was this thinking when Clinton was impeached for lying about a knob-job? That was the extent of his crime, yet we still here it everyday on here like it was yesterday, not years ago already. Ken Starr was on a witch-hunt backed by the republicans in congress and now you want civility for a President who at best refused to listen to any opposing advice about Iraq and at worst lied us into Iraq. After all you wouldn't want the smoking gun of Saddam's guilt to be a mushroom cloud would you? To try to scare America into compliance with his wishes with nuclear horror scares is not acceptable in my book. Being willing to sell our ports to Dubai Ports World thereby putting their control in the hands of people in the middle-east after nine-eleven is flat out irresponsible and dangerous. Failing to secure our borders six full years after nine-eleven is inexcusable. These are but a few of his decisions. Personally I think both President Bush and V.P. Cheney should be tried for treason, not impeached.

Impeachment has only come up 3 times in recent history, so I think you're overreacting.
It only comes up when there is credible evidence that a president or vice president has broken the law.
This has happened with the last 2 presidents. Maybe you should complain about the presidents thinking they are above the law than about the people who call them on it.

The only thing I agree with Pelosi on is taking impeachment off the table. I just hope she sticks with it. I like your question.

Amen! Some people need to suck it up and quit whining!
BTW, aren't you sick of all of the TV banter between parties? Each one thinks the other one is the antichrist. While I agree that iron sharpens iron, I think this country is teetering on the brink of falling victim to the proverb, "A house divided against itself will not stand."
I think we need to respect whoever is in office, and vote accordingly next time!

No. Hopefully only the ones that show evidence of breaking the law. Such as Clinton, Bush, and Cheney.
