The feeling is that lesbians do not really exist and that tehya re just very horny women that, if given the chance, would want regular sex.
However, "love the one you're with", so men have worked themselves up into a frenzy about this and that they are merely pushing themselves to erotic peaks, so when the man (finally) shows up, they can truly enjoy sex.
Keep in mind that nearly all the sapphic scenes in porn films are a man's idea as to how two women make love with each other, so it is a warped viewpoint to begin with.
Frankly, for me, the only thing more boring than two women going after one another is two men going after one another

Men are Pigs. But some of the reasons behind the male interest in lesbians are
- guys like girls, two girls means there is no guy to ruin the view
- some guys think they could somehow join in, that a lesbian couple would welcome a man to 'show them how things are done' or some such rubbish.
I think the idea of the lesbian and especially the threesome are perpetuated by the depictions seen in pornography. Men then try to rationalize the behavior of women who don't want to be with them to the behavior they've seen in porno.
But basically men can be arrogant pigs who let certain anatomy think for them.

A man can't stand for another guy to get some play and he totally lose his mind when a women does. People in general are cruel it sucks I know. Most guy are negative and some only see a lesbian as a way to get sex. They think that if that can go one she'll bring a friend. My best advice I know it hard but just Ignore the BULL$HIT(^_^) good luck

It is interesting how Gay Men are held to a higher "moral" standard by Straight Men, who constantly beat us over the head with the Bible and such, but think nothing of their own moral downfall when it comes to their carnal lust for girl-on-girl action.
I guess they believe they can have their cake and eat it too, but then, selfishness is a common trait among Straight males.
