That would depend on the origin of the rock. You want to maximize the surface area for colonization by bacteria, and this is usally done by a ratio of tank volume to pounds of rock needed.

If the rock is Atlantic or Carribean in origin, you should get 1.5-2 pounds per gallon, if it's Pacific (which is more porous), it's 1 pound per gallon. A 144 liter tank is equivalent to 38 gallons, so you should get 17 kg (38 lbs) of Pacific or 25-34 kg (57-76 lbs) of Atlantic.
