Yes specially with the smaller children everyone wants them to learn way to fast and too much to early. I think business is way to fast and people in life in general do things way to fast and have way to much on their plates and have to have hectic lives. If people just slow down and bit and relax some their blood preasure would go way down. I think they might be just a little happier in their lives.

Sir it is not just evident it is certain, life is far too challenging and competitive here in America, and the primary cause is the contamination of our country with illegal drugs, if we did away with patents, copyrights, the AMA, the pharmaceutical companies, and all the drug laws. Guess what would happen? A percentage of the people who use illegal drugs would overdose and cease to be a burden to society, the drug dealers would cease to sell drugs because the price of street drugs would drop like a lead balloon, the police wouldn't have to work so hard because the druggies would have what they want without having to steal (street drugs would be affordable), our medical system would become socialized therefore the ridiculous price of medical expense would be a thing of the past, the insurance companies would have to go down on their premiums because med insurance would be a thing of the past, the pharmaceutical companies would either change to selling homeopathic/herbal remedies instead of chemical compounds that cause more side effects than good effects, or go broke, and the AMA would have to be honest about everything they do, because there would be no reason for them to be dishonest any longer. Yeah, life is crazy here, and EVERYONE WANTS TO COME TO AMERICA!

I think it depends on what part of the country you live it. I live in the south, for instance, and it's pretty slowwww......However, I took a trip up to Boston and WOW it's FAST! Same with New York City. ((I loved both cities, by the way)). I'm not to sure about the west, seeing as I've never traveled over there. *cough*islame*cough* But, yeah, that's my take on it.

Yes yes yes!!! I really do. I mean if we have to tell something to someone we no longer go to their house, people rarely call, most e-mail or instant message. Yes, I do admit that I do this sometimes too. So for a week this summer I am going to go a week without t.v. and computer. Yes, I am actually going to do that. I have told myself so much that I would but never do.
Everyone is always so rushed. So sad. So sad. I don't know what to do to change that though. Got any ideas?

Well it goes without saying, this generation is getting a lot of stuff thrown at them.
It went from Tapes to CD's and from land-lines to cell phones, to photo cell phones now it's PC, photo, cell phones that are radios.
We went from old style combustion engines, to what one yahoo answerer asked, what is a carburetor ? believe that, then it was a F-86 and MiG 15 Jet to stealth's.

I think the kids today are eating all this up as fast as their getting it but, what are they doing with it? only time will tell.

Yes. I think too many children and teenagers are being thrown adult responsibilites and are forced to grow up too fast. They lose the "happiest years of their lives" becuase their being faced with things adults now didn't have to deal with until the were well, adults.

YES-
we put more value in our work than our families
we put more money into stuff then our educations
we put more effort on celebrities than real issues of concern
we spend too much time on the computer, then out making friends. Oops that would be me....LOL

Yes, definitely. And we allow our lives to be swallowed up by that. I find that going out into nature and just being there helps to slow me down. Nature is never in a hurry.
