it is not a liberal or conservative point that the middle class is shrinking. It is fact. The middle class is living on credit right now. And illegal immigration is the primary culprit. Second is NAFTA "free trade" laws that the liberals put in place.

Man can't change the climate.

The wealthy make money off of the middle class and poor. they always have. EDIT: I AM SURE THEY ARE SO THANKFUL FOR THE $5.15/HR - $50,000/YR THAT THEY MAKE, WHILE THE CEO MAKES 30 MILLION A YEAR.

Our health care system is not good because there are many people who are uninsured. That doesn't mean we need a universal health care system, it means that we need to focus on stopping greed. it is a moral issue. Universal health care would be a disaster for human rights.

Fox news is a propaganda network run by neocons. They claim to be fair but all they do is present neocon opinions. They should be called the Fox Neocon Opinions Channel. They cut off people and use lawyer tactics to silence their opposition. They blacklist or attack candidates they don't like. If that is what you think is fair, then so be it. I think they are really there to dupe conservatives into voting for the neocon/liberal GOP candidates like Rudy. Newscorp owner Rupert Murdoch is friends with and gives money to the hillary campaign. They also giver her and obama a lot of publicity, even if it is negative, name recognition is the most important thing in this age of american stupidity.
It is the right of workers to form unions. It doesn't matter if it is good for the wealthy's economy. Your philosophy of the poor not being able to demand fair pay is akin to slavery.

We know that is wasn't Osama bin Laden (http://www.fbi.gov), because there is no evidence that connects him to it (the fbi admits this), It is not just liberals that say that. The towers couldn't fall in 10 seconds without explosives, and if there were explosives in the towers, how did they get there (keep in mind that bush's brother marvin was in charge of security at the WTC, and a week before 9/11, the security cameras were turned off and the bomb sniffing dogs were removed, all for supposed "renovations. PNAC's Dick Cheney wrote a report in which he stated that it would be helpful to have a "catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new pearl harbor" to increase the size of goverment and take control of the middle east. Zbigniew Brezinski wrote in "the grand chessboard (1997) that, "Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multi-cultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat." and the whole book is about how they can create a new world order from this promulgated threat. (p. 211) I could write a book about all of the "coincidences" on that day, but i don't have that kind of time.

The economy is great, if you are rich (i mean top 1%, not upper-middle class). every time the DOW goes up, middle class jobs are lost.

EDIT
It is liberal to trust and love government,. why would you only want a website with a .gov? YOU are the liberal.

Avatar_defender, that is quite possibly the best comment I have ever seen.

The truth is they can't back this information up because it simply isn't true or they would come up with something better than "we don't have the time to answer this question."

If it were possible to change the climate I would certainly think all of this useless money we pour into NASA would have discovered ways to do so by now.

I don't know the exact figures, but it's something like the top 5%, pay 70% of all income taxes.

Our healthcare is by far the best of any other country which is why everyone is coming here. If you have ever visited a doctor in another country, England for example, this would be obvious.

Unions do nothing but more harm to the people in them and I think that's been made apparent by the jobs lost to outsourcing.

Claiming the government blew up the twin towers is just ridiculous.

The economy is strong right now and looks to continue that way for a while.

"The wealthy make money off the poor and the middleclass." hmmm I wonder who provides these jobs for the poor and middle class. It certainly isn't the blue collar workers starting multi-billion dollar companies that create thousands of jobs.

OK, I'll go on record as a liberal first. Now, as to your question:

"The middleclass (SIC) is shrinking" http://www.census.gov/

"Man can change the climate" http://www.noaa.gov

"The wealthy pay less in taxes than middleclass (SIC)" Sorry, never said that. What I DID say is that when you cut taxes for the wealthy you have to make it up from someone and THAT someone is the middle class.

"Our health care is the worst" Sorry, never said that either. But when millions of children are added to the roles of the uninsured under the current fiscal policies, SOMETHING is desperately wrong. Again, go to http://www.census.gov/

"Fox news is not fair" http://www.foxnews.com Sorry that it's not a .gov site (Actually I wonder sometimes...) but it does stand on it's own merit. :-/

"Unions are good for the economy" Never said that. But they CAN be good for workers when business loses sight of the fact that they are the company's most valuable asset and treats them like expendables. A good workforce can and does generate healthy business which is good for the economy.

"The government blew up the twin towers" Sorry, didn't say THAT either. Anyone who thinks that the US government had any guilt in that (other than a failure to act on good intel that was available and staring them in the face) is simply a nutjob regardless of their political affiliation. (Much of the accusations come from extreme right wing loonies and the last time I checked, liberals were to the left of the political spectrum.)

"The economy sucks" http://www.census.gov/ The actual real after tax income growth during the Bush administration was about 20% of what it was during the Clinton administration.

A Conservative loves his country like a child loves his Mommy. A Liberal loves his country like adults love each other.

So let me get this straight.... the only "credible" links you will deem acceptable are those ending in ".gov"? Does this mean that you don't believe something is true unless the government tells you it's true? OK then....

The middle class is shrinking... (dem & rep links)

The economy sucks:

A web site site that ends with .gov will never indicate that all of the above are bad. This will will be the proof that the government itself sucks
But still I do not believe that the government blew up th twin towers

You know what I love more than questions like this? The fact that you'll get nothing but rhetoric and BS.

"open your eyes"

"waste of time"

blah, blah, blah.

Personally, if I could shut someone up for good be taking 20 minutes to give them scholarly sources, I'd consider it time well spent.

It's too bad that we're the one's asking for proof of these people's false claims and they're the ones acting like the fact that they don't have any means we're wrong.

Sad really.

While I'm working out my proofs, you work on these:

George Bush is a great president.

The war in Iraq was a good idea and we went there to create a democracy.

The gap between the rich and the poor is not getting bigger.

The radical change in our weather patterns is nothing more than a cycle that's been going on for thousands of years.

ABC, NBC & CBS are all a bunch of communists who set out to mislead you.

Rush Limbaugh is a man of integrity.

We're going to catch Osama bin Laden "dead or alive."

The neocons believe in smaller government.
