It's a 1st birthday for a boy and we have everything planned but the centerpeice. Was thinking of something with a palm tree in center with animals around it but it sounds boring. I would love for it to "POP" and be the most wanted take home thing for the guests. I am open to any sugestions. All but flowers. Help me please.

I don't know your budget but...How about an edible centerpiece that the whole table can enjoy instead? There are cookie bouquets, fruit & dipped fruit bouquets (which are always a hit at my gatherings) and candy bouquets. I listed sites below where you can order or at least find ideas. If you have a low budget but are crafty/handy...you could probably make them yourself or enlist friends or family that are, to help you! If you type in "edible centerpieces" in a search engine, you'll find endless ideas, options & sources.

And I wouldn't worry about having a centerpiece that a guest will have to take home...I don't know about others, but i hate bringing home stuff to add to my collection of stuff i got from other events that were nice, but also unwanted...catch my drift?

Have fun & good luck!

Go to this site. Look under the" Animal Novelties section ". See if you can't find something there to inspire a centerpiece idea. You could probably use the blow up animals somewhere. The suckers also look like fun.
