I know this goes totally against the grain of what everyone else is saying, but I tend to use sweaters a lot more in the summer than I do in the winter. I live in northern California and it's frikkin' chilly here in the summertime. You don't need a full-on jacket like you do in the wintertime (think lightweight carcoat) but you do need a chunky sweater to stay warm enough during the daytime. There's a reason the wetsuit was invented in my hometown - the water is cold and so is the air temperature!

Being from the UK at the moment I use my Umbrella the most in the summer, and in the winter I don't use the summer clothes!
