they woudlnt know unless they were specifically looking for the pregnancy hormone. even without skipping a pill, you could still become pregnant though. i took mine every day same time for about 6 years and got preggo. the pill normally helps regulate your cycle and everything, so id think something is up by out of nowhere for the first time that your period is late; unless of course, are you stressed over anything? there are some other factors that can cause a late or missed period; i say look into them first then take a test if you can rule everything else out. good luck to you!

The only way to know if you are pregnant is to take a test. So do that right away to get your mind off that worry.

About missing a period after your pills - there are many things that could have caused this: stress, extreme diets, low weight are a few.

If you aren't pregnant, and you don't see your period show up in a few weeks, see the doc. If anything, it will bring you peace of mind. She'll probably do a pregnancy test, even if you did one at home and it came out negative.

When I was living abroad, I was so stressed out by the whole experience that I had only one period the entire year I was there. I didn't realize I was stressed, but not one week after I returned home to the states, my period came back. I went to the doctor while I was in Europe and everything.

So, if you are really worried that you're pregnant, that might actually make you miss your period, or be late.

Try yoga and other destressers. Also make sure you have a good diet and don't have any deficiencies.

Good luck!

They would actually be looking for HGH, Human Growth Hormone but if it is a regular physical then they probably didn't test for it. My question to you is, two weeks after your last period to present, did you have unprotected sex? If so, this is the most fertal time and you could be pregnant! Are your breasts tender? That is another sign of being pregnant. I would suggest a home pregnancy test (buy two just in case, one could be defective and not show a good result, some come with two in a box). They are very cheap and pretty effective.

I hope you get the answer you are looking for.

It is possible to get pregnant on birth control. I did! Have you been taken any antibiotics? Sometimes they can lessen the effect of bc. If you are late, call your Dr and schedule a test. Or take a home test. Good luck.
