I was wondering when do you start to actually eat for two- or is it eat almost everything. I just finish eating about an hour ago 4 dominos slices and now I am starving-omg. I just dont understand it it normal what should I do? I just dont want to eat for no reason.

You are just hungry. You've been eating for 2 all along. A pregnant woman only really needs an extra 200-300 calories a day.

Try eating a few smaller meals throughout the day and that might make you less inclined to eat everything in sight at one sitting.

Fruit and grains are healthy and should be consumed as well as meats, cheeses, milk.

Try drinking a bottle or glass of water before a meal. This may fill you up more and in turn cause you to eat less at once.

You only need about 300 extra calories a day so you definitely should not eat for two. However I was starving all the time early in my pregnancy and would eat and eat and eat. I am now 18 weeks and I'm not as hungry as I was. Try to eat 5-6 small meals or have a healthy snack (a piece of fruit or some yogurt) in between 3 good meals a day. If you need to eat all the time make sure it's healthy stuff.

You are not eating for two, you should only increase your caloric intake by 300 - 500 calories. Gaining too much weight in pregnancy can be difficult to lose later. Eat several small meals throughout the day to avoid feeling hungry.

don't eat for two. most people think when you are pregnant that gives the excuse of eating everything in site. If you are hungry then eat something. If you are not hungry and think you have to eat just because you are pregnant then don't eat. I am 6months pregnant and I just eat when I hungry. I find my weight gain is not as much as other people who eat for no reason.

I know exactly how you feel I am 14 weeks pregnant also today!!! and I've been feeling aslo help yust like you I am always hungry so I ask my doctor and he told me to eat 4-5 times a day smaller meals... so this should help you if you heart burn... he told me to eat as much vegs & Fruis I want they are only good for us anyways... execpt those one hi in sugar like watermelon!!

i havent even been able 2 eat barely myself never mind for 2 i ahve 3 or 4meals a day with some snacking but its different witrh everyone am now 34weeks pregnant

It is normal to be hungry but chose your food wisely. If you eat heathy foods you will have an easier time loosing the weight!

eating for two is not really what your are suppose to do. you should increase your calorie intake by like 500 calories i think. i cant remember. you can look it up. but never start eating double. your dr will tell you

If you're hungary - eat. If you're not hungary - don't eat. It's as simple as that. Don't eat just cuz you're bored, eat cuz your hungary.
