The only thing that I was told is safe to take while pregnant is Tylenol. Never Ibuprofen such as Advil or Motrin. My Dr. and pharmacists suggest if possible not to take any meds unless absolutely necessary during the 1st trimester.

Try laying in a dark room with a cold rag on your head.

Good luck.. I hope you find some relief.

Sumatriptan is in the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not known whether sumatriptan will be harmful to an unborn baby. Do not use this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during treatment.

There isn't enough research done on women to say for sure but testing on animals revealed adverse effects on the fetus. Talk to your doctor for something safer =-)

If you are in doubt give your doctor a call or call your local emergency room. They can advise you whether it's safe or not.

Ask your doctor. I'm not sure the effects it could have on pregnancy. I wouldn't take it until you speak to your doctor.
