~~~ Yes,I finally forgave myself for some past mistakes ,so I'm mostly at peace with myself. It makes life much easier than being at war with myself,that's for sure. When I'm peaceful with others it rubs off on me and I can stay at peace with myself better. ~~~
With me it is a matter of scale. If you are asking if I would feel 100% at peace with myself if I were on my death bed right now, I think I would have to say, "No." But who knows? It would not be the first time that I was dead wrong. I have also been reconnecting with a ton of old friends and the memories that were jogged or still not remembered by myself were surprising at times. I mean what if I have blanked out stuff? I could be at peace till someone refreshes my past and then would I still be at peace? I'm not sure.
An angel called "Synchronicity" is having a ball with me lately.
I'm left wondering "What's this all about?" Yet it is still fun and I am smiling, so........! Not so sure as I was a week ago if I am so at peace with myself. :<)))
Hi Rena. Today I am not at peace with myself because I have been a bit under the weather all weekend. I think I caught a virus of sorts.
And I found out that the one friend I have known for over 20 years is still as selfish as I have known him to be. I called him every day last week to check on him because he was going to the his most dreadest place--the dentist for an implant. And he didn't check in with me once this weekend to see if I needed anything, and how I was feeling.
Life goes on.
Yes. I have come to the conclusion that my journey through life is now the best it can be considering the past and present. I at least like to think I have been able to help others as well as myself.
That does not mean I am ready to sit down and do nothing. There is too life left in me. I have more windminds to fight and conquer. I have not reached by ultimate goal of eternal happiness so I must trod along in the manner that seems best for me and the rest of mankind.
yes, and i'm getting more and more peaceful with myself each and every day. i had a very regretful past, and it took a long time to get over it, and i'm still working to get over it. this all takes time, and hopefully in the near future i'll be more in peace with myself than i have been right now. and that keeps me going.
I can honestly say Yes.
It was a long difficult journey, but I belief I am at peace with who I am and who I will become. I accept the path I have chosen for myself and know that if my plans for myself change than there is always another path to take.
I am and allow me to tell you why. I believe in loving yourself or you cannot love anyone else. If you feel good about what you are doing or, your actions are pure than yes you are pure in spirit and heart............And you will feel at peace with yourself.
Yes, completely. It took years to understand what I am and my place in the world but I am content now. That doesn't mean I cease to try to be better than I am, only that my inner soul isn't troubled.
