My daughter Lorraine is turing 16, and her boyfriend and her have been having sex and I know it. I have 4 other girls, but I know I still want to adopt or have another child. I am sorry but I don't know how to handle this situation. I would think a mother that is around her age would be able to tell her not to have sex. I recently found a pregnacy test in her bathroom. Please leave your email and answer my question on how to have my daughter come to me if she is pregnant or to tell me if she is having sex. So please help.

well any girls around that age are nervous on telling there parents there having sex incase the parents might kick them out just remind her if she is having sex then if she turns out pregnant u will help her the best u can if that what u plan on doing
u can still adopt or have another child just might feel akward

I'm in my late 20's and my children are toddlers, so I don't know if that qualifies me to answer this question, but I will give my opinion. No matter how distant you and your daughter seem right now (all teenage girls go thru it with their mothers--don't you remember?) you cannot forget that you still have a bond with her that is strong. For heavens sake, you have to get thru to her before she gets pregnant or ends up with a disease. Just talk to her. Let her know that you know what she's been doing but don't accuse her. You want her to be safe. Use protection. Talk to her. You are her mother and not her friend. But you have to show her that she can come to you about these things. Talk to all your girls. It may be difficult, but really, who do you want them to learn about sex from?

first don't try to yell at her, if you tell her you found it she might go crazy and try to yell at you for interfering and she'll try to say that you're tryin to control her and that she just wants you to leave her alone. maybe you could try talking to her friends and tell them to talk to her and try to figure out if she's pregnant or if she's trying to get pregnant. i'm 17 and as you probably know at this age children say they want to be left alone but i really suggest tryin to have a more open relationship with your daughter. i have a very good relatonship with my mom and i still got pregnant. just try to talk to her about boys at school and say things like why dont you bring your boyfriends to meet us or stuff like that. if she knows you'll approve of her having boyfriends then it'll help her feel more comfortable about telling you things.

shes a kid you are an adult so take charge and teach her.you are not her friend you are her mother and she needs your guidance
