Harry Potter 1-6 and probably the 7th when it comes out. Yes I'm a Harry Potter fan but the books are amazing! There is so much detail and made up creatures or objects. It makes you wish it was real (to me at least). Everything is described with emotion and you really get hooked on the characters. It's a book you can read as many times as possible and it never gets boring. I've actually cried reading them.

Conjectures and Refutations. By Sir karl Popper.
Why?
Because he was a critical so-called philosopher!
And a master scholar and writer; im biased but i
would say that he was the best scholar of the 20th
century- and hardly anyone's heard of him!
Well, thats their business, for he talked of truth and
of what teachers and some scholars have been writing
about, and lecturing in our top universities.
He also showed how both Right and Left wing politics
is a fool's game,in his criticism of Plato(from the right
wingers) and Marx(left wingers).
And how our trusted so-called philosophy departments
in colleges around the country(not just britain!)have been
"hijacked" by clever puzzle-people,who hardly care for the
important things in life and society.
So harsh words,indeed.
My advice is,before you go there and see(!),read his
books;especially his In search of a better world,- the chapter
10 - Emancipation through Knowledge,should be taught
to all schoolchildren,its that Good!

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer- its a gripping and addictive book, you can relate to basically all the characters
Song of the lioness by Tamora Pierce- its about a girl who disguises as a boy and she must conquer her fears- especially the fear of love, to become a knight of the realm of Tortall, i LOVE this book!!!
Eragon by Christopher Paolini- it has such a great plot, has a lot of adventure and a gripping book, its about a farm boy who becomes a legendary dragon rider and sets out on a journey to seek revenge of his uncles killers- the razac, who was looking for the egg eragon found in the forbidden Spine, a forest that people are really scared of,

Right now I would have to say "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon and all of the sequels.
Extremely well written. It's one of those stories that once it takes off, you can't stop reading. I like it because it is well researched. It has a paranormal spin that is made "believable." I'm absolutely in love with the characters. Incredibly different from each other each one has their own distinct character... definately one of the best I've ever read. It is the kind of story you lose yourself in.

Harry Potter is like so totally cool. All the spells and fighting. Also the romance. Ginny and Harry belong together!

I have two. Catch 22 is the funniest book I've ever read and Life of Pi is fascinating for its dual levels of meaning as well as surprise ending.

The Onion Girl. It is a powerful book for mature teenage girls. I don't want to spoil it so I am keeping this short. It is a spellbinding novel that shows the world through two pairs of teen aged girls eyes.

My favorite book seems to be Shark Diaries. It has some very factual references to Hawaii and it gets real steamy in some parts! Great book to read!

my favorite book is
THE TALE OF DESPERAUX

its a sweet fairy tale that is funny , different and interesting ,
it's a little different that the normal fariy tale, a mouse named desperaux falls in love with a princess, desperaux is a different mouse not only is he small but enjoys reading books,
the story is awsome because it also shows that the villian of the story ( who is a rat) is mislead and is really a good rat ,
also an unlucky girl who is tricked to help the rat kid nape the princess has a sweet ending ............

The Snow Leopard by Peter Matthiessen. Adventure, philosophy, love loss. It's all there. I've read it four times.
