How rare is it for a team to go through the entire season without being shut out? When was the last time it was done and who was the team? Any info would be appreciated.

The 2000 Reds were the last to make it through the entire season without being shut out, on their way to setting the NL mark of over 200 games without being blanked.

The major league record is 308, set by the Yankees of the early 1930s.

I found an article on espn.com that says, on May 24, 2001, the Cincinnati Reds' streak of 208 games without being shutout ended.
