About a year, maybe two. Randy Johnson is currently at 284 wins. Though he's been fighting injuries, I can't imagine him quitting until he gets those wins. After Johnson, the list looks pretty sparse. Mike Mussina (at 243 wins) is closest, but he's already 38 years old and is slowing down. Pedro Martinez (206 wins, 35 years old) is the only other active 200-game winner who's less than 40 years old, and might have a shot if he can hold up long enough.
I don't see Maddux making it to 400, though it's certainly possible. He's slowed down a bit the last few years but is still getting around 14 or 15 wins per year. Since he's not a power pitcher, he might be able to pitch another 4-5 years to get there.

First off there is absolutely no way maddux gets to 400. He'd have to pitch at least 5 more seasons to do it which is not going to happen. As for 300 it'll be a long time before anyone else reaches that total unless by some miracle RJ can reach it. The guys with 200+ at this point are all too old and of the young guys most of them are too far away to predict it at this point. Pedro is the only guy I found who has enough wins to be able to see him doing it right now. He'll have to have a lot better health over the next 5-6 years to be able to do it though. No one else with over 100 wins right now is young enough to even have a chance.

I think it'll be awhile before we see another 300-game winner. I know Randy Johnson is 45-50 away, but his age might hold him back.
Greg Maddux might come close to 400, but don't think he'll hang out that long. Although, the wear an' tear on his arm isn't as bad as, say - Randy Johnson - who throws a lot of sliders.
Johnson might surprise us and come back... never know... Clemens did - 3 times.

There wont be to may more 300 game winners if any... managers are not letting them have as many starts as glavine did when he started to play...Managers watch innings pitched and pitch counts to much to give a pitcher a chance to reach that many wins...

Randy Johnson, 2008. I think he'll just continue to gut it out, Early Wynn-style, until he posts that 300th on the scoreboard.
Pedro, if his recovery is strong, will be next.
After them, however, it'll likely be a long span. But this is how it tends to be.

No, I dont think of he gets it this evening, he's playing the Brewers, and the brewers are in direction of a pennant race perfect now with the cubs, i think of that if the administrative ned yost needs to win that he will try his toughest considering that final time the brewers even went to the playoffs became in 'eighty two!

I think if Santana stays healthy he could do it. Mad-dog won't stick around long enough to get 400.
