There is no actual disorder intended - Mr. Bean is just an eccentric character that Rowan Atkinson created for a giggle one day.

Thats awful............i never though i'd been laughing at someone with a mental disorder.
I think nowadays theres far to many medical labels put on.
Boiling it down does it really matter? its fictional entertainment.
If you had asked about the film 'The rain man' obviously that would be different. But Mr Bean doesnt need analysis.......its like Mr Magoo, Laurel and Hardy etc etc....

Your joking...if he really was portraying a real illness he's have been caught by the PC (political correctness) bragade by now! Nowadays he wouldn't be allowed to portray an actual mental illness as it would be offensive to people who really did have that illness. It ridiculous, you can't say anything without offending someone any more. He just plays an idiot

Its called an alterego, in real life the actor stutters so becoming Mr bean helped him to overcome many obstacles
