I wish I could get pictures but it's fast and creepy! It looks like a really hairy catepillar but it has a bunch of legs that look spider like, more then eight legs for sure. It doesn't have the normal legs a catepillar would. It looks kind of like a hairy house centepede but I don't know for sure. They can really move fast. On either ends they have longer protrusions of either antennae or just hair. Anyone have any idea?

It looks more like the body of a catepillar...and really long hairs covering the body. It also has a BUNCH more legs. The only thing I saw that looked sorta similar was a House Centepede...but they didn't have the hair or protrusions on the ends....That's why I'm confused...I've seen them at my parents, my place and at my work. (I'm sure they're somewhere else too I just haven't heard anyone talk about them.) Nobody that has seen them has ever seen them around here before.

I'd still go with house centipede - Scutigera has the front and back antennae-looking things, and when moving fast, it certainly looks like a smoothly-rippling hairy thing. The big ones get an inch and a half or so long, and they can really zip.

It is most likely a House Centipede, they do have protrusions on them, a the head they have giant mandibles which are usually tucked away and large antennae, the back end has to fatter "antennae" these are fake. There purpose is to distract other animals and keep them from going after the head. The "hair" would be extra sensors from the legs so they can sense whats around them.
