the one i get will be used as a second vehicle for longer drives and to diliver pizza's if i get a new car it will cost me more than its worth... and for the record, my 1984 dodge ramcharger that i had 2 years ago got 12, wich is only 2 less then what it got when it was new. not much of a change there...

My 92 Integra with B16 and 5spd is getting 30-31mpg (premium only - DOHC Vtec) 230k miles, driven hard for the 12 years I have had it. Without knowing what engines and conditions it would be tough to say. The Civic will be smaller and lighter but the age difference might be a factor. Most Hondas I have experienced get between 25-35mpg.

Were talking 16 and 20 year old cars here. Wear and tear maintence different size tires. Lots of things factor into gas mileage. FORGET ABOUT IT New cars are safer get better gas milage make better horsepower. Or live in the past worring about 2 miles a gallon
